St.
John Vianney marked the 35th anniversary of the “Roe vs. Wade” U.S.
Supreme Court decision. This unfortunately legalized abortions
in the United States. We placed flags on the courtyard to serve
as visual reminders of the 169 children that are killed each hour in
our country through the horrible process of abortion.
Since 1973, there have been almost 50 million abortions. Nearly
one out of four babies is now aborted in the U.S., and we are called
to action in the face of this national tragedy. We ask that you
please pray for the millions and millions of victims of abortion –
babies, mothers and fathers. Please pray
for an end to the culture of death and for the protection of every
child in the womb for every child born is a miracle of God’s creation.
If you
would like to help fight the atrocities of abortion, you may join in
praying the rosary with others on Fridays at 9:30 a.m. in front of the
Planned Parenthood on Litchfield Road across from the Taco Bell just
south of Van Buren St.
